2019 NMAA/NMADA FALL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The 2019 NMAA & NMADA Fall Leadership Conference will take place September 29-30 at the Marriott Pyramid Hotel in Albuquerque.  The conference will feature several NIAAA Leadership Training Courses on Sunday the 29th along with a general session for mid school athletic directors and additional networking opportunities during the NMADA Social.  Monday will then feature numerous professional development opportunities along with the NMAA’s Annual Report & Meeting of Schools – these sessions are mandatory as each school must be represented by their athletic director or designee.  Full Conference information along with the registration form can be accessed from the main page of the NMAA website.  If you have questions pertaining to the 2019 Fall Conference, please contact NMAA Assistant Director Tammy Richards at (505) 923-3278 or tammy@nmact.org.

NMAA/NMADA ROOKIE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR WORKSHOP
The NMAA/NMADA will host the second of two “Rookie” Athletic Director workshops on Wednesday, August 21st. This meeting will be held at the NMAA Offices from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 pm with lunch provided. Come and learn more about the NMAA Handbook, Eligibility and Petitions, the Max Preps data system and much more. New Athletic Directors are encouraged to attend one of the meetings. ATHLETIC DIRECTORS & HEAD COACHES INFO FORM
Athletic directors please fill out the  Athletic Directors & Head Coaches Info Form with your head coaches’ name, email and cell phone number by August 31st. Click Here for the form. (Please pass this form along to your middle schools as well) This information will be used by our office to update our sports specific emails and the ads@nmact.org list. If you are currently looking to fill a coaching vacancy or do not have that sport at your school, please leave the field blank.  When a coaching position is filled or a coaching change occurs please email Tyler Dunkel at tyler@nmact.org and he will make the update to the document manually. ATHLETIC TRAINER ALL ACCESS PASS
All athletic trainers need an NMAA All Access pass to gain complimentary entrance into NMAA sanctioned events, including state championships.  Please have your athletic trainer fill out the online application and submit it to the NMAA by September 16, 2019 in order to receive a pass for the year.  The application form is available here.

MEMBERSHIP DUES, FEES AND CONTRACTS

MAXPREPS VIDEO TOOLS
The NMAA, along with MaxPreps has created a series of three videos to help Athletic Directors and Coaches set up accounts, give access to schools or teams and enter rosters and schedules. These videos are listed under the ADMIN HUB, For Athletic Directors on the NMAA website. For further assistance contact Tyler Dunkel at tyler@nmact.org.

COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2019-2020 school year.  Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility.  Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
