DRAGONFLY & MAXPREPS SCHEDULE CHECK
Athletic Directors, please go into your DragonFly and MaxPreps accounts and make sure that your football, volleyball and soccer schedules match. It is extremely important for scheduling officials, seeding & selection and MaxPreps rankings. Also make sure those schedules match any schedule posted on your school website.

DragonFly Entering Pool Play Tutorial

ATHLETIC TRAINER ALL ACCESS PASS
All athletic trainers need an NMAA All Access pass to gain complimentary entrance into NMAA sanctioned events, including state championships.  Please have your athletic trainer fill out the online application and submit it to the NMAA by August 26, 2022 in order to receive a pass for the year.  The application form is available here.

2022 NMAA/NMADA FALL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The 2022 NMAA & NMADA Fall Leadership Conference will take place September 25-26 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque.  The conference will feature several NIAAA Leadership Training Courses on Sunday the 25th along with a general session for mid school athletic directors and additional networking opportunities during the NMADA Social.  Monday the 26th will then feature numerous professional development opportunities along with the NMAA’s Annual Report & Meeting of Schools – these sessions are mandatory as each school must be represented by their athletic director or designee.  Full Conference information along with the registration form will be posted the afternoon of August 22nd on the main page of the NMAA website, as well as emailed out.  If you have questions pertaining to the 2022 Fall Conference, please contact NMAA Assistant Director Tammy Richards at (505) 923-3278 or tammy@nmact.org.

MEMBER SCHOOL’S “OFFICIAL VOTER” DESIGNATION
NMAA Bylaw 3.12.1 states “The administrative head of each member school, with local Board of Education approval, appoints the “Official Voter” for the school. The “Official Voter” is the school’s voting representative for all matters pertaining to the business of the NMAA when the referendum is required.” NMAA Bylaw 3.9.2 requires that the “Official Voter”, and other staff information, is posted on MaxPreps on or before September 16. Official Voter Instructions

MEMBERSHIP DUES, FEES AND CONTRACTS

COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2022-2023 school year.  Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility.  Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
