Here is a list of some of the recent college signings and commitments from high school student athletes around New Mexico.

 

Kiara Quezada of Farmington High School announced she will compete in track and field at the University of New Mexico.  Quezada won three straight state titles in the pole vault. In 2019, she set the Girls Class 5A state record in the pole vault with a mark of 12’0”.

 

Azia Himeur of Cibola High School announced she will play basketball at Eastern New Mexico University.

 

Michael Marshall of Navajo Pine High School signed his national letter of intent to run cross country and track at New Mexico Highlands University.

 

Riley Hestand of Carlsbad signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Eastern New Mexico University.

Nikkinna Begay of Kirtland Central High School will continue her soccer career at Mesa Community College.

 

Ember Cervantes of Mescalero Apache signed her letter of intent to play basketball for New Mexico Highlands University.
