JAKE HAND VERBALLY COMMITS TO SWIM FOR ARIZONA

 In General News, Press Releases

Albuquerque Academy senior senior Jake Hand verbally committed to the University of Arizona.  Hand is a four-time finalist at the NMAA Swim Championships.  He was the 100m breaststroke runner-up last season and took 5th in the 100m butterfly event.  His sophomore year Hand finished third in the 100m breast and took second in the 200m individual medley.

“I chose Arizona because of the incredible coaching staff led by head coach Augie Busch and the team he’s built around him,” Jake said.  “Arizona also provides an elite level of swimming that will challenge me throughout my four years there and is something I’m looking forward to.”
