LA CUEVA BOYS WIN THE ALBUQUERQUE METRO SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

6 new meet records were set on Saturday at the Metro Championships.  The La Cueva boys swim team made it a Bears sweep at the Metro Championships this month.  The La Cueva boys finished first on Saturday.  The La Cueva girls won the Metro Championships the previous week.  The La Cueva boys won three events, including 2 meet records by Jack Hoagland in the 200 yard individual medley and 500 yard freestyle.

 

200yd Medley Relay: La Cueva 1:37.17 (Sumali, Hoagland, Lei, Pepin)

200yd Freestyle: Jamin Harlan, Cibola 1:44.14

200yd Individual Medley: Jack Hoagland, La Cueva 1:48.10 (new meet record)

50yd Freestyle: Max Hawton, Sandia 20.74 (new meet record)

Diving: Isaac Newman, Eldorado 550.50 (new meet record)

100yd Butterfly: Darien O’Donnell, Eldorado 49.96

100yd Freestyle: Keelan Hart, Cibola 45.95

500yd Freestyle: Jack Hoagland, La Cueva 4:30.26 (new meet record)

200yd Freestyle Relay: Cibola 1:28.29 (Harlan, Cordray, Gallegos, Hart)

100yd Backstroke: Max Hawton, Sandia 50.44 (new meet record)

100yd Breaststroke: Pierce Holler, Albuquerque 57.45 (new meet record)

400yd Freestyle Relay: Cleveland 3:14.76 (McLaughlin, Meyer, Peters, Pazand)
