DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: JEREMIAH RODRIGUEZ, ST. MICHAEL’S HIGH SCHOOL

 In General News, Press Releases

Every month, we shine a light on a standout student from New Mexico who’s making the most of their time in athletics and activities. This time, the Dion’s Student Spotlight lands on St. Michael’s senior Jeremiah Rodriguez—a three-sport athlete with no shortage of drive.

In the fall, you’ll catch him racing across cross country courses. Winter brings him to the basketball court, where he thrives on the camaraderie of the game. “Basketball is my favorite for sure, I like the team aspect of it,” he said. When spring rolls around, Jeremiah shifts gears to the track, running everything “from the 200 to the mile,” though he admits the middle distances are where he feels most at home.

For Jeremiah, sports aren’t just about competition—they’re about growth. “Being involved in athletics builds character and makes me a better person,” he said.

Meet Jeremiah Rodriguez of St. Michael’s High School—an athlete who’s always on the move, chasing both finish lines and personal growth.
