VOLCANO VISTA GIRLS CONTINUE THEIR WIN STREAK

The Volcano Vista High School girls basketball team is currently on a 44 game win streak dating back more than two seasons.  The New Mexico record for most consecutive victories is 77 wins by Eldorado from 1988-1991.  In fact, Eldorado owns the four longest consecutive win streaks in state history (77, 74, 69, and 64).  Volcano Vista is 2-0 this season with home games this week against Las Cruces High School and Organ Mountain High School.  Here’s an early season look at the two-time defending state champs from Volcano Vista.
