THINK PINK AT MAYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL

Last week, Mayfield High School athletes raised over $3,000 and presented 3 different Mayfield families that have been affected by cancer with a check of $1,000 each. The money raised for the 2022 Pink Night brings the grand total to over $33,000 that the Mayfield girls basketball program has raised for cancer research over the past 15 years! Coincidentally, their event took place on World Cancer Day 2022.

“We were proud to also celebrate Coaches vs Cancer with the Centennial Hawks coaching staff as they participated in wearing Pink ribbons and tennis shoes in support of our efforts,” said Mayfield girls basketball coach George Maya. “It’s very heartwarming to see my athletes give back to the community in this way without hesitation and even more appreciative to all our fans that continue to support our efforts.”
