MORE SIGNINGS & COMMITMENTS FROM NEW MEXICO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETES

Here is a list of some of the recent signings and commitments from high school student athletes around New Mexico.

 

Artesia High School Graduate O’Brien Verdin signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Abilene Christian University in Abilene TX. He will be a member of the men’s indoor/outdoor track team and Cross-Country team.

 

Eston Storm of Volcano Vista High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at NM Highlands University.  He was a left handed, two-way player (pitcher & outfield) for the Hawks.

 

Tyler Kiehne of Los Lunas High School announced his commitment to play football at UCLA in the Fall of 2021.  The high school senior-to-be was a 1st Team All-State selection for the Tigers at defensive end with 9 sacks as a junior.  He chose the Bruins over Arizona and Kansas State.

 

Jade Skaggs of Piedra Vista High School will continue her softball playing career at Frank Phillips College located in Borger, Texas.

 

Michaela Martinez of Pojoaque High School officially signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball at New Mexico Highlands University.

Mesilla Valley Christian senior Steele Schweinebraten committed to play golf at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.  He received the 2019 Sun Country Foundation Jack Hardwick Sportsman of the Year Award.

Bloomfield High School’s Kenyon Mosley will run track at Dodge City Community College.
