STATE BASKETBALL PASSES
Tournament passes for the 2020 NMAA State Basketball Championships are on sale NOW! Passes may be purchased at the NMAA Office (6600 Palomas NE, Albuquerque) or over the phone at 505-923-3266. The cost per pass is $150, which includes a reserved seat at Dreamstyle Arena The Pit and a commemorative event program. Additionally, pass holders are entitled to entry into all State Basketball games at all tournament sites, including the first round of state beginning on March 6th.

NMAA 24/7 APP DOWNLOAD CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY FIESTA AUTO GROUP
Could your school use $1,500 from Fiesta Auto Group?  All you have to do is get your students/parents/fans to download the FREE NMAA 24/7 app for a chance to win. It’s the NMAA 24/7 app Download Challenge presented by Fiesta Auto Group.  We want to see which school can get the most downloads.  Two schools, a large school division and a small school division, will be awarded $1,500 by Fiesta Auto Group for the most downloads between now and March 8, 2020. SPRING RULES CLINICS ONLINE STARTING FEBRUARY 1
Online spring rules clinics will be available February 1-15, 2020 on each sport landing page at www.nmact.org. Rules clinic attendance is mandatory for all head coaches during their sport season.

NMAA STUDENT LEADERSHIP ADVISORY COUNCIL NOMINATIONS
The NMAA is looking for students to serve on our Student-Leadership Advisory Council for the following areas in the NMAA’s governance structure for the 2020-2021 school year:

Area A-Large:   Two representatives
Area B-Small:    One representative
Area C-Large:   Two representatives
Area C-Small:   Two representatives
Area D-Large:   Two representatives
At-Large (Large School Area A/B):  One representative

12TH ANNUAL NMAA FOUNDATION BOWL-A-THON
The NMAA Foundation will be holding its 12th Annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser on Sunday February 9th, 2020, at 1pm at Ten Pins & More in Rio Rancho, NM.  The cost for a team of four (4) bowlers is $250.  All proceeds from the event will again be used to benefit the youth of New Mexico through student scholarships and athletic/activity program grants/support.

COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2019-2020 school year.  Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility.  Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
