3A-6A FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKETS RELEASED
The 2019 Football State Championship brackets have been released for classes 3A-6A and the 6-Man, 8-Man and 2A Football brackets are now updated following this past weekend.  Please click the link below to view the brackets.

2019 LAGUNA BURGER STATE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2019 Laguna Burger State Cross Country Championships are November 9 at Rio Rancho High School. For a list of race times and a link to LIVE race results please visit the Cross Country page at NMact.org.

FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Advance tickets are now on sale for the Soccer and Volleyball State Championships.  Tickets are available online at GoFan (https://gofan.co/app/school/NMAA).  Please share this information with your local community.

VOLLEYBALL SEEDING & SELECTION SHOW
The 2019 Rudy’s Real Texas Bar-B-Q State Volleyball seeding and selection show will be Sunday, November 10 at approximately 4:00 p.m. (MT) at www.nmact.org.

WINTER RULES CLINICS ONLINE STARTING NOVEMBER 1
Online winter rules clinics will be available November 1-15, 2019 on each sport landing page at www.nmact.org. Rules clinic attendance is mandatory for all head coaches during their sport season. This year, ALL Basketball Rules Clinics will be In-Person. A list of dates, locations in your area and times are listed below.

Athletic Directors – a reminder to please check and compare schedules in your arbiter account and your schedules on MaxPreps to ensure players, coaches, parents and officials all know the correct times for your events. MAXPREPS VIDEO TOOLS
The NMAA, along with MaxPreps has created a series of three videos to help Athletic Directors and Coaches set up accounts, give access to schools or teams and enter rosters and schedules. These videos are listed under the ADMIN HUB, For Athletic Directors on the NMAA website. For further assistance contact Tyler Dunkel at tyler@nmact.org.

COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2019-2020 school year.  Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility.  Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
