NMHSCA COACHES CLINIC
Athletic Directors:  Below is a list of events specific to athletic directors, which will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 during the NMHSCA Coaches Clinic at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albuquerque:

9:15 – 10:50 am – NMAA General Bylaws, Transfer and Eligibility Rules
3:00 – 3:50 pm – NMAA Required AD Rules Clinic
4:00 – 4:50 pm – NMADA General Membership Meeting

FALL RULES CLINICS ONLINE
Fall rules clinics are to be attended by head coaches of all fall sports by August 15th.  This is mandatory for all head coaches during their sport season.  The NMAA will host Mandatory In-Person Regional Rules Clinics for the Fall Season in the sports of Soccer & Volleyball, for those unable to attend the NMHSCA Coaches Clinic at the end of July. Rules Clinics for Football & Cross Country will once again be on-line this year. Regions, dates and times are listed below.

  • August 5 – Farmington HS – 6 p.m.
    • August 7 – Capital HS – 6 p.m.
    • August 12 – Albuquerque HS – 6 p.m.
    • August 14 – Roswell HS – 6 p.m.
    • August 15 – Onate HS – 6 p.m

NMAA/NMADA ROOKIE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR WORKSHOP
The NMAA/NMADA will host two “Rookie” Athletic Director workshops on Wednesday, August 7th and Wednesday, August 21st. These meetings will be held at the NMAA Offices from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 pm with lunch provided. Come and learn more about the NMAA Handbook, Eligibility and Petitions, the Max Preps data system and much more. New Athletics Directors are encouraged to attend one of the meetings. ATHLETIC TRAINER ALL ACCESS PASS
All athletic trainers need an NMAA All Access pass to gain complimentary entrance into NMAA sanctioned events, including state championships.  Please have your athletic trainer fill out the online application and submit it to the NMAA by September 16, 2019 in order to receive a pass for the year.  The application form is available here.

MEMBERSHIP DUES, FEES AND CONTRACTS

MAXPREPS VIDEO TOOLS
The NMAA, along with MaxPreps has created a series of three videos to help Athletic Directors and Coaches set up accounts, give access to schools or teams and enter rosters and schedules.
