Gallup High School is looking for a strong candidate to lead our Dance Team

ATHLETIC COACHING LICENSE, 5-12

Must hold or have the ability to obtain an Athletic Coaching License (https://webnew.ped.state.nm.us/bureaus/licensure/how-to-apply/athletic-coach-5-12/)
from the New Mexico Public Education Department as well as completing the Fundamentals of Coaching online exam offered through the New Mexico Activities Association. (www.nmact.org)

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
2. Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. (Major sports)
3. The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to
the field.
4. The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through
his/her instructions and actions.
