BASEBALL & SOFTBALL SEEDING AND SELECTION COACHES INPUT FORMS
Athletic Directors: Please remind your head baseball and softball coaches to complete and submit the 2026 baseball/softball Coaches Input Forms. These forms play a vital role in the seeding and selection process. All classes for both sports are due Sunday, May 3rd by 8 a.m. District Chairs must also submit the District Placement forms for baseball or softball at this time. These forms are due prior to 8:00 AM on the day of seeding. For questions regarding softball, contact Annette Castillo or for baseball contact Tyler Dunkel.

STATE GOLF ENTRY DEADLINE
2026 Nusenda Credit Union State Golf Championships presented by Realty One of New Mexico roster updates in iWanamaker must be completed by 9:00 am, Wednesday, May 6th for all individual and team participants in class A-3A, 4A & 5A. STATE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2026 NMAA State Tennis Championships presented by Corley’s Albuquerque Lincoln Volvo will take place, May 6-9, at Jerry Cline, Sierra Vista and Albuquerque Academy. District Placement Forms are due Saturday, May 2nd by 8 p.m. and Coaches Input Forms are due Sunday, May 3rd by 8 a.m. Singles and doubles competition will take place beginning Wednesday, while the team competition will start Friday morning. AIR QUALITY REMINDER
As the windy season begins, air quality can be a concern. The NMAA has no mandate when it comes to Air Quality, but if the Air Quality Index is above 150, schools may want to consider suspending or postponing practices or games.
STATE TRACK & FIELD ENTRY DEADLINE
Track and Field coaches are personally responsible for entering all athletes that have qualified for the state track and field championships into the MileSplit website. Deadline for classes 1A thru 3A are due no later than Sunday, May 3rd at 11:59 p.m., and the deadline for classes 4A & 5A are due no later than Sunday, May 10th at 11:59 p.m. Failure to do so will jeopardize your athlete’s entrance into the State Championships and late entries will result in a $500 fine to the school.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY INVITE – DATE CHANGE
The date of the 2026 NMAA Middle School Cross Country Invite has changed to Thursday, October 15th. The meet will still be held at Rio Rancho High School. More information to come later in the Fall.
MAXPREP SCORES
Reminder to input your final score into MaxPreps as soon as possible, following your contest. Having an accurate schedule on MaxPreps with the final score is vital to the seeding & selection process for State Championships.
