SANTA FE INDIAN SCHOOL BASKETBALL PLAYING WITH PURPOSE

Santa Fe Indian School renamed their annual basketball tournament the Jason Abeyta Memorial Tournament, in honor of their former head coach who died alongside his brother Nathan in a car accident in April of 2025. The boys program, under new head coach Byron Trujillo, along with the Santa Fe Indian girls team and head coach Khadijia Jackson, are two of the teams to beat in their classification.
