DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: ELLA ZAMORA, HATCH VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

Each month, we will spotlight a student from New Mexico who is involved in various athletics and/or activities.  Here’s a look at this month’s Dion’s Student Spotlight. She participates in soccer in the fall, Science Olympiad in the winter, and track and field in the spring.  Soccer is her favorite because of the team aspect of the sport. “You get to connect more with your teammates in soccer,” she said.  “Science Olympiad really helps me geek out,” she joked.  “I love science!  This will be my seventh year doing Science Olympiad.”  She plans to major in chemical engineering when she goes to college and become a pharmacist.   Meet senior Ella Zamora from Hatch Valley High School.
