WATCH THE VOLCANO VISTA-LAS CRUCES STATE BASKETBALL FINAL FOR FREE THROUGH JUNE 7TH
The NFHS Network is providing free access to some of the most viewed events for various sports in the 2021-2022 school year. The 2022 Class 5A Boys Basketball State Championship was one of the most watched high school broadcasts in the country. Volcano Vista beat Las Cruces 66-55 in overtime to win the state title.”We were very excited to play Las Cruces for the championship,” said Volcano Vista head coach Greg Brown. “Two undefeated teams ranked number one and two in the state, we knew this game was going to be a great one. Winning that game was special for reasons even bigger than basketball.”
