LOCATION:
The 2009 NMAA State Soccer Championships will be held at the Albuquerque Public Schools new soccer complex, November 5-7. The four-field complex is located just west of Volcano Vista High School on Albuquerque’s west-side- click here for MAP and DIRECTIONS. All four fields at the APS Soccer Complex have lights and are artificial turf; fields are approximately 107 x 63 yards.
FORMAT:
Because the Pool Play format was eliminated, the 2009 NMAA State Soccer Championships will be a 12 team single elimination tournament. The first round of 12 will take place on Oct. 30-31 at home sites, with the top four seeds having a bye. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played in three consecutive days (Nov. 5-7).
