NMAA MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:
	STREAMING VIDEO NETWORK: The NMAA has signed a contract with ProView Networks to be the official streaming video partner of the NMAA. ProView Networks will stream all State Championship games onto www.nmaafilms.tv VOLLEY FOR THE CURE Several schools are participating in Volley For The Cure. NFHS Participation Survey Results: High School Sports Participation Increases Again; Boys, Girls and Overall Participation Reach All-time Highs. New Mexico ranks 39th out of 51 in regards to total participants. Click here for a complete NFHS Press Release. National Signing Day: National Signing Day is scheduled for Nov. 12. SUPERINTENDENT/ PRINCIPAL'S DESK:
	The December 10, 2008 Board of Directors Meeting has been changed to December 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM. A reception dinner for Superintendents will follow the meeting (5:00-6:00 PM) in the NMAA Hall of Pride and Honor. Referenda Due October 24, 2008. Click here to download. The NMAA will host the first bylaws teleconfernce on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 8:00 AM to help schools learn more about NMAA bylaws. Interested parties should call 1-866-590-3642 and Enter 4709396 when prompted. Please be reminded that by NMAA Board Policy, member schools are required to hold pre-season meetings for coaches, athletes, and parents prior to each sports season (fall, winter, spring). A suggested agenda (download) is available and the NMAA Pre-Season DVD, “NMAA: We Are High School Sports in New Mexico”, must be shown. Athletic directors must submit the documentation form for each season (download form).

	Fall Sports: All Fall sports should have a complete roster, schedules, updated scores, coaches and managers posted on the NMAA website. Team photos must be posted three weeks prior to the NMAA State Championship. Soccer: Seeding and Selection Meeting- Sat. COACHES' PREGAME:
	Coaches, Please ensure that your schedules and scores are updated on the NMAA website. The Seeding and Selection committee will use this information in the coming weeks. Also, please make sure that all of your coaches and managers are listed on the NMAA website as well. Only those individuals listed on the NMAA website will receive passes. The Basketball and Wrestling on-line rules clinic will be available on Nov. 1. The Swimming and Diving on-line rules clinic is available. Click here to attend.
ACTIVITIES STAGE:

	The NMOA is always looking for individuals to serve as contest officials in baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, swimming, track, volleyball and wrestling. If you know anyone in your community who is interested in serving as a sports official, please have them contact the NMAA office at 505.923.3110 for more information or refer them to the “For Officials” section of the NMAA web site. If there are recent graduates in your community looking for a way to stay involved in sports, this is a perfect avenue for them!
