IN THE NEWS:
CENTENNIAL GRADUATES- CLASS OF 2012:
A Centennial Graduate is any New Mexico student who graduates from High School in the year 2012, the anniversary of New Mexico's statehood. Students from any New Mexico public or private school, as well as home schooled students are eligible. Centennial Graduates must meet all graduation requirements as defined in New Mexico Statute.
The vision of the Centennial Graduates Initiative is for New Mexico to have a record number of high school graduates in 2012. We encourage you to make and set a new standard for academic achievement for future generations of New Mexican students.
The state of New Mexico is sponsoring a Centennial Graduate logo design competition. Click here to download a logo design competition flyer and information. The deadline to submit a logo is Nov. 21, 2009.

H1N1 UPDATE:
The New Mexico Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control has asked the New Mexico Activities Association to remind athletic directors and coaches of the dangers related to the H1N1 virus. If you are sick with flu-like illness, CDC recommends that you stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone.
Coaches are strongly encouraged to get practice policies and procedures established regarding this issue. Consistency throughout all programs in your school is important.
