Show Choir
The NMAA is excited to announce that we will be sanctioning Show Choir as an NMAA activity for the first time during the 2011-2012 school year! Please see below for more information (a show choir page will be coming soon!). Major changes to be reminded of are that ALL participants (including accompanying bands) must be eligible students from the same NMAA member school. The Director and one school recognized piano accompanist are the only exceptions to this rule. Also, only NMAA member schools will be eligible to participate. Any schools in New Mexico interested in associate membership to allow participation should contact NMAA Associate Director, Robert Zayas at robert@nmact.org or 505-923-3274. Further questions can be sent to Kristin Derr at kristin@nmact.org. We look forward to offering this great participation opportunity to all NMAA member schools!
ATTENTION SHOW CHOIR PARTICIPANTS:
In order to offer a separate category for Treble and Mixed Choirs, a minimum of 4 ensembles must be registered in each ensemble. Please note on your registration form whether your ensemble is Treble or Mixed.
