Chess

Chess can be viewed as a form of exercise for the brain. Chess also builds strong character and participants can begin playing at any age. Chess is an excellent example of an activity that requires a high level of sportsmanship. The New Mexico Activities Association State Chess Championship takes place in early April and all member schools are eligible to participate.
